Duration: 90 min
Price: Adults 69 Euro
"Vienna Uncorked" is a unique experience that blends Vienna’s rich history with its winemaking tradition, offering a sensory and cultural journey like no other. Vienna is one of the few capitals in the world to boast active viticulture within its urban boundaries, with vineyards producing high-quality wines for centuries. This project celebrates that tradition, exploring the deep connection between the city and wine—from its Roman roots to the present day.
During the experience, participants will taste three carefully selected local wines, each with its own distinctive story and character, accompanied by captivating tales of Viennese culture and history. But what truly makes "Vienna Uncorked" special is the presence of Wiener Volkslieder - traditional Viennese folk songs - translated into English for the audience. These songs, rich in emotion and authenticity, tell of the life, joys, and struggles of the Viennese people, offering a profound immersion into local culture.
"Vienna Uncorked" is much more than a wine tasting: it is a journey into the beating heart of Vienna, where wine, history, and music come together in an unforgettable experience.
